    We are currently seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our team in our brand new, luxury Sydney CBD Head Offices. As a part of the Finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist with all business analytical needs and support the finance team with all business initiatives.

    As the Commercial Analyst, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to:

    • Deliver and assist with periodic sales and expense analytics to support the finance team and broader business- including regional and head office.

    • Support the finance team and business by identifying areas where the business can improve performance, achieve its objectives and mitigate risks.

    • Prepare and distribute relevant sales data for all stores and assist with all financial and analytical requirements including, tourism data, historical sales and forecasted sales.

    • Assist with long range planning and annual profit planning process including forecasting SGA and indirect expenses and assisting with sales projections.

    • Deliver and assist with all cash flow requirements including periodic forecasts, loan balance management and monthly cash flow reporting to head office.

    • Assist with all statutory filing requirements as required including month end tasks, income tax return, fringe benefits return, business activity statement and ASB surveys.

    • Assist with adhoc tasks including but not limited to assisting with data required for new store proformas, adhoc accounting projects, system launches, and new store opening training.

    To be considered for this role, you will have:

    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting.
    • University degree in Finance, Commerce or Accounting.
    • Well presented, energetic, and highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - at an Advanced level for MS Excel.
    • Experience using financial systems.
